This weeks bride is truly one of a kind. I have had the pleasure of knowing this darling girl for the past 4 years and have never known anyone quite like her. She is one of the most beautiful girls you will lay eyes on outwardly, but what is more incredible is how beautiful she is on the inside. When you meet Lindsey your first thought is probably going to be, oh my gosh she is gorgeous, your next thought after a few minutes is going to be oh my gosh she is hilarious and a little odd. It is totally normal for Lindsey to do things like leave a party to go climb a tree, or jump on the back of a horse out at a campfire only to get bucked off seconds later and get up and laugh it off. She wears crocs with socks 80% of the time and is completely herself 100% of the time. What is so beautiful is that when Lindsey met Jimmy he was also all of those things. When you see the two of them together you see two people who are completely enamored with eachother, but even more enamored with the God they both serve, and they love eachother exactly the way they are, including all the special quirks. I remember when Lindsey told us about meeting Jimmy, she said the first thing she noticed was that he was wearing crocs! I cannot wait for you all to get to know a little more about this incredible couple. Enjoy!

What was your favorite wedding detail you put into your big day?
My favorite wedding detail was the order of the service. We worshiped, prayed, and took communion together. We desire to keep Christ the center of our marriage so it was wonderful to me that those things were woven into the service. -Jimmy
What has been your favorite thing about being married?
My favorite thing about being married is the physical, emotional, and spiritual intimacy that I get to experience with my best friend. Being able to wake up next to her, come home to her, and go to bed with her creates a closeness and a trust that I have never experienced before. I am loving it! -Jimmy
What has been the hardest part about marriage?
The hardest part about marriage is blending what she thinks is normal and acceptable with what I think is normal and acceptable. We have both lived the majority of our lives independent of each other developing habits, patterns, and norms in all areas of our lives and now we are mashing all that together. But all that considered, I still love married life wayyyy more than the single life! –Jimmy
